Since I can never get enough of the rising sun, and though this is photo entry no. 103 of my ongoing Photo Book Project as posted at my instagram page… Let’s begin the blog with this 😉

Golden hour just out of our Al Aqah, Fujairah beach camp. Captured with a vintage Minolta SRT102 camera with a 50mm f/1.4 lens on a Kodak Colorplus 200 film. Taken a couple of months ago.

My Polaroidica💛

A thought inspired me to revisit an idea about exploring instant film photography more than 8 years ago. It quickly led to an online purchase of a vintage Polaroid Land Camera 340 along with a couple of boxes of Fujifilm FP-100C and FP-3000B instant film packs. And I was hooked ever since!

Got quite into it, that several months later, a Polaroid Z340 Instant Digital Camera and a Leica Sofort Instant Camera (which I’ll write about each individually later on in another entry) joined my instant film camera family 😉

On and off through the years, I have experimented on instant film photography with whatever comes to mind. Tried it with varying lighting and environmental conditions; indoors, summer on the streets, the beach, landscape, still life, portraits, to name a few. Yet the instant film photos shown above are the only ones I have posted on my instagram page so far. Will be posting more instant film captures in the coming days, so watch this space.

Looking down 40 floors to Dubai 😉

A landscape of the newer part of this extraordinary city. Shot from a balcony 40 floors up a commercial tower, as posted on my instagram page (nos.: 163 and 164 respectively).

Captured with a vintage Zorki 4 rangefinder camera with a 50mm f/2.0 on a Kodak Colorplus 200 film.
